Lugnutz65,
Does the Colorado wheel have the 3.5 dia center hole to fit on the 64-66 trucks?

Re: six lug rims whatcha got?

They will bolt right on to the rear axle. I used 2 of them on the rear of a 66 I had to move. The backspacing is a bit more that the factory C10 wheels so it tucks in a bit more. I have not installed them on the front yet. They might have to much backspacing for the front, but maybe they will be ok.
The Colorado wheels I show are easier to find than the 4X4 rally wheels from the Chevy K10. I think they look pretty nice with the center cap installed. I am strongly considering using a set. I have a lot of options saved in storage. Just haven't had a chance to see what they look like installed because my truck is still in pieces.

Re: six lug rims whatcha got?

I currently have stock steel wheels on my 64. I just found a cheap set of mid 80's 4x4 rallys which look a lot like those Colorados. I don't know if I will use them, but the price was too good to pass up. Someone will want them if I don't. It's good to know what's out there that might fit. Are the Colorado wheels 15 or 16? 15" tires and rims are getting harder to find these days. Everything seems to be 16 and up.

The Colorado wheels are 15". The tire I have on in the photo is a 235/75/15.

I know you responded a while back, but are those plastic? How do you hold them on? Wouldn't the lug nuts crush the plastic when tightened? I'm assuming they are deep enough to clear the front center hub without removing the center emblem? (can't see the fronts well in pic) Thanks.

Mixing old school and modern center caps. Here's an idea.

The Chevy Colorado with a factory steel wheel uses a center cap that presses onto the 6 lug nuts. Here's a pic of a Colorado wheel without the cap and a cap picture I stole off of eBay. It might look weird on a slot, but then again it might look good. I have not tried it to see.

Chevy Colorado factory steel wheel

Correction here about my earlier post. These Colorado wheels have the correct bolt pattern but will NOT bolt on to a factory front drum because they have too much back spacing. You will need spacers to make them work. They bolt onto the back drums just fine.

I'm gonna runs these wheels 16"x4 or 5 not sure, with some kind of aggressive tread and the wheels will be the color of engine and firewall, I had to grind a little on the inside of wheel and grind some on caliper for these wheels to work, They came off my 48 fleetline.. and some kind of cap...

I would think that they would bolt right on, others can chime in...

Good afternoon. Great looking truck! I also have those Jeep slots, did you have to put longer studs on? What lug nuts are you using? Mine only catch about 3/4 inch of thread. Thanks!

I am using 7/16” conical lug nuts. I think I get at least 3 or 4 turns of each lug nut, about the 3/4” you mention.
I recently upgraded to front disc brakes. The CPP kit I bought has longer 7/16” studs, which I was happy to see. So stud length on the front wheels is no longer any issue.

I have a box of 7/16” EXTENDED THREAD lug nuts. They have a conical design like the ones I currently use, but an extra long threaded area. To use them, I’ll need to enlarge the lug holes ever so slightly.

I’ll post pics once I get back to my home computer.
