Bob,
How does one determine lift height? By tire size? Looks? If I want 35's on my 72 Blazer, is there a minimum I should have? I dont want to have to climb too much to get in and out.

Typically 4" (or maybe 6") lift minimum for 35" Tires. Going to also depend on your wheel backspacing.

3 Attachment(s)
I have a 3” lift on mine with 33” BFGs. Take note that most tires differ in size. Mine say they are 33” but I’m pretty sure they are only 32.5 actual. The 3” was a substantial increase in height over stock due to saggy springs.

Who made that 3" lift Kirk? Great looking truck.

I have a 4" lift on my Jimmy with 35" BFG's and that's pretty much the minimum for that much tire IME. You might even want some more lift if you really get it twisted up offroad and don't want any sheet metal damage.

LOVE that tire and wheel setup, but then I am a bit biased and have used it on my last 4 rigs! They are not on my Blazer but I think they look fantastic; great looking rig!

Thanks for the compliments it’s coming along. I’m pretty much rebuilding everything.
It’s an OffRoad designs lift kit with a shackle flip. The springs are their custom springs and when I ordered them I asked for some good ride for street. Not cheap at about 1500 just for the springs but I’ve never seen a complaint on them. The rear is 1” negative spring due to the shackle flip adding 4” of lift. I had 31” BFGs on in the before pic. I’m a BFG fan so I bought another set.
