4-6 drop and exhaust
Any problems with the exhaust being run under the trans crossmember with a 4-6 drop?

I,d go over, looks ugly with pipes hanging down anyway

Re: 4-6 drop and exhaust
I'm a little lower than that and my setup was run below the xmember (until I could built a raised one). Its fine most of the time, but running it above would gain ~3" of clearance that would be nice to have.
Also, if you run it below you can juuuust about see it from the side of the truck. |
Re: 4-6 drop and exhaust
Have it up and over right now but worried about the fuel line is about 1.5 inc away from it and the trans cooler lines. Thought about useing some heat sleeves on the lines. Thoughts on this?

Re: 4-6 drop and exhaust
my current crossover pipe hangs below my front cross member. it also far enough back, that being on air...this will get refabbed.
i plan to extend the Y inlet on the pass side to raise the pipe, then shorten the driver side up pipe. |
Re: 4-6 drop and exhaust
Ran over the crossmember. Looks great. Ordering heat sleeve. Thanks for all the help.
