Well this thread is AMAZING! Its so great to see these trucks as they were in the 60s… And i don't claim mine as 100% original… but its pretty darn close.
1962 GMC, LB, 305V6, 56,000 Original Miles. Only thing is paint was redone, Cab sails are from a 64 Chev, other than that she's a stock old truck and i love her!

Here's my 65 LWB, I found it right here in northern Michigan stuffed away in a garage. Perfect body and only 26,000 original miles, still has the bias ply tires with the rubber t*ts on them. Completely unmolested and original. I never have good things happen to me, like finding this one, but it shows that the sun shines on every dogs butt, sometimes.:)

I couldn't figure the best place to post the below pics, so since all my trucks are unrestored survivors, I picked this thread.
We had the pleasure to meet member Sodly on Saturday. Out from Nebraska on a business trip of sorts, he had asked if he could drop by for a peek at my collection. I was more than happy to oblige, and so went about assembling the herd for a little show and tell.
Due to my unique storage situation, this was the FIRST time EVER to get all the trucks in one place at the same time. Photos resulting.
Yes, I'm very lucky to have neighbors that can tolerate the nut-job down the street who climbs on his roof to take pics of a bunch of old trucks clogging our little block.

Thanks for sharing, & what a beautiful collection you have! Glad your neighbors were understanding as well. ;)....I love customs of all sorts (street rods, rat rods, sport trucks, etc.), as well as restored classics, but there's something truly unique about unrestored survivors. At times, it's hard to believe such automobiles in that condition exist today.

Great pictures Bruce ! Nice to see them all in one place. Few OK Used Car-Truck banners and a string of lights and you'd have a 1967 Used car lot . Hopefully Sodly helped you drive them back to storage, its the least he could do;)

Ha! My wife said the same thing about needing some of those little flags on a line.
Getting all the trucks in one place was entirely my idea. I just never had a good excuse to do it before. Of course Sodly was completely polite and offered to help jockey them back. Good guy.

It's a dirty job but someone's gotta help do it! Big thanks to oem4me for dragging all the trucks out for an impromptu truck show. Quite a rare opportunity for little ol' me. Needless to say, his collection is extremely impressive and a nicer host you will not find.

Re: most original 60-66 truck in existence?

Kalirodding is thinking some of the odometers may have rolled over. Mine has not as I have two maint bills showing the mileage. It is a RARE 66 LWB, small back window 66 Chevy pickup-- FACTORY 4X4 and just 68K miles. I am trying to sell it. It has the original hubcaps, air and oil filter, build paper, wood bed in good shape, and on and on. I also have the original owners name. It was built in Baltimore and sold in Front Royal, Va.
I also have a Tan 66 Burb with a 350 and 350 automatic with factory air, tach, and clock.
Then I have a RED 66 SWB pickup, big back window, 327 and T4 trans with factory air and shoulder belts. I believe it was a forest service truck?
How do I post a pic? I clicked insert image but it wants a url address.

You guys with your truck collections make me SICK!!!! On top of that OEM looks to have a 63 spit window in the yard as well (can't tell exactly from the pic). Can you say "jealous", lol.

Use an image hosting site like Photobucket.

We would definitely like some pics of your trucks!

That street looks vary familiar are those the field lights of Burrows in the background. If so we are almost neighbors. I am still trying to figure out where in Griffith Park or the Equestrian Center you can park on the dirt.

Nice addition to the thread. Apart from the bed wood not being black it looks very original. The black paint around the bezel is correct also on 63 w/painted grill. Nice truck.
