It seems like someone on here had every episode together on dvd and was offering it to board members awhile back.

Re: Copperhead spec sheet!!

Hmmm, I have 3 or 4 of the copperhead episodes on my Tivo (suspension, engine, recap and payoff.) I think those are the important ones anyway - don't remember how many. I could be persuaded to throw a simple DVD together for those interested...

The gas door was off a pt cruiser if I remember right

Re: Copperhead spec sheet!!

I believe the gas filler was not much more than a marine gas cap drilled through the wood bed.
I've seen the hidden fuel filler thingy that speedracer's talking about... Keep your eye in Classic Trucks magazine, I'm sure I saw it there..

It can be done, but you must "hack" your Tivo in order to transfer the video to pc. You could purchase a settop DVD recorder and record directly from TIVO to the recorder. Search Google for DealDataBase for Tivo info.

Re: Copperhead spec sheet!!

that sounds kewl. I know that, previously, when you try to record there was an annoying light-dark problem with the recording. Does recording from the TiVo pose any such problems for the set top units?

SPEED is doing a mini-marathon of "TRUCKS" today. The first episodes have been of the "Copperhead" chassis build, brakes , tank, hitch and 572 & tranny and O/D install. It's gotta see stuff, even if it is all reruns. The "new" show is too nasty to watch.
