Something to know before buying a wiring harness kit
 

Good quality kits use GXL or even SXL wire.

Lesser kits use TXL wire.

Very cheap "house brand" kits may use so-called "primary" wire with PVC insulation -- the kind that melts easily, and is no way suitable for use around gasoline and oil.
