thinkin hard about buyin some factory tow hooks for my 68 K20.

Does anybody have any pictures of how and where they mount.

and which holes in the frame are used.... or drilled.

i did a search, I'm looking for pictures of how they are mounted and what holes to use or drill.

yes I did a search, went back to 2003! funny people were complaining when they went from 100 bucks up to 150 bucks.

I picked up a set at Springfield swap meet for $175 a about a year ago.

Those look like they're mounted backwards. Open end of the hook should face toward the back, so the chain doesn't slip out while towing and chew up your bumper. Not as big an issue if the tow vehicle is level or down-hill on the pull, but if the tow vehicle is slightly uphill, the chain can come out.
