RideTech air springs and AntiSway bar
Ive installed Ridetech's RidePro digital 4 way system on my 72 C10. I also have CPP tubular control arms. Is any one using or recommend using an antisway bar on the front end?
I want the better handling in the corners but I'm afraid the antisway bar isn't designed to move in the up and down range of an air bag system. Also I was hoping for the added benefit of no tire rub when going up driveways at an angel. I have very little of that now at ride hight but it does squeak just a little. Thanks |

Re: RideTech air springs and AntiSway bar
Thanks for the reply, I really only ever drive it at the ride hight setting so it makes sense that the antisway bar would work well if set up to that hight. I'm sure I'd also need to make sure it doesn't bind or rub the bags at any other bag hight. I think the CPP bar for the tubular control arms attaches well away from the bags.
I'm interested how you used a front bar on the rear of your suburban. I'd like to put a bar on the rear of my truck but, I put my pumps and valves in the spot where it would attach to the frame. |

Sorry for the slow response.
Check out the link below to the sway bar that we recommend for your truck. This bar will work just fine for your suspension. Check it out and let me know what you think. http://www.ridetech.com/store/1963-1...musclebar.html |
Re: RideTech air springs and AntiSway bar
Thank JohnJ, can you tell me the measurement from mount to mount on the control arms? I'd like to measure that against my mount holes on the CPP tubular arms.
Also I'm incredibly happy with the RidePro system. |

The No limit rear sway bar is nice, not sure if it will work with your setup. It fits above the frame which is nice for ground clearance.

Re: RideTech air springs and AntiSway bar
The sway bars are right at 45 1/4 inches from center of end link mount to the other. I hope that helps you out a little bit.
Glad to hear you like the RidePro system. If you ever need anything or have any questions, feel free to contact me directly. ill be more than happy to help you out. |
