S.E. US..The old 72 Suburban had vanished. Anyone seen her?
 

I built this years ago and it made its way through a few owners in N.Ga finally disappearing about 4 or so years ago being sold out of Kennesaw Ga.. I get asked all the time if I know where it is. Anyone seen it recently??

I just have had a bunch of folks ask about that Suburban recently and my old dually also and thought I would post it up for grins. As you know I've moved on to pre-war vehicles

Thanks, I am having a blast learning about and building this older stuff. Since laying off the 67-72's, I have had 5 Model A's and 4 or 5 40's to early 50's vehicles.

I love them all and have jumped from trucks and muscle cars to trucks and old cars to everything with 4 wheels. The car hobby has gotten out of hand price wise and I just cant get on board when old pick up trucks are averaging 15-25K +. They will always have a special place in my heart and there will always be one floating around Rottenwood Garage but for now my efforts are pre 1959.
BTW..39-40 Ford!! I just sold my 40 2 dr. sedan.

Engine has a severe leak, its been sitting outside for a few years, roof paint is rusting but the green and interior are still nice. It wont take long to get it back to where it was. We are probably going to do a drop and 5 lug conversion this time around.

The supposed engine leak was a bad fuel hose and a power steering leak. Charged the battery, fixed the hose and away we went! Its heading to my painter this week to get the roof fixed.

She has been sent to the paint shop and should be back next week. We now have the 5 lug rear axle and correct 4" Suburban rear drop springs. I have ordered the Early Classic 2.5 C20 drop spindles and I also have the front 5 lug hub assemblies in inventory that fit on them. Wheels and tires are next.

Paint repairs should be done by the end of the week. On to 5 lug conversion and drop!
