Early classic spindles hitting tubular control arms

Anyone else have this issue? The spindles have a chunk of metal that sticks inward on the aft end ( driver and passenger sides respectively ) and it isn't driveable due to massive alignment issues. I'm about to cut the protrusions off but they were pretty expensive... figured I would pick someone elses brain first though. I will get a picture later.

I assume the piece on the spindle that is the issue is a steering stop. Heck if I know. I know it serves me no purpose and I recycled my stock control arms so I cant compare.

I will call Early Classic Industries on the 2nd if I have to but I dont see them doing anything about it other giving me their opinion on cutting the protrusion off. I have had so many delays happen with my front end rebuild I have no problem asking stupid questions to save me any more. Thanks for any help in advance.

69 C10 stock ride height. Nothing fancy but the control arms.

Photos always help, but I am pretty sure if I remember right, that I had a similar problem with my lower Porterbuilt control arms & my drop spindles. I can remember grinding a rather large knob off from my spindle to keep from hitting. I was P.O'd because all of my stuff was powder-coated when I noticed the collision.

Make sure the control arms are on the correct side.
