Question on rear Disc brakes, are you running 3/16" line all the way back from the master cylinder/ proportioning valve, or are you running 1/4" from the master cylinder/ proportioning valve back to the rear shock cross member and teeing to 3/16" lines.

The size of the tubing should be based on the volume of fluid needed for the caliper. If the calipers are single piston you can often get away with 3/16" all the way back. For multiple piston calipers it's more important to use larger line.

It wouldn't hurt hurt to go 1/4. If it's a little bigger than you need, not a problem. The rubber lines from the axle to the calipers will be the size needed for the calipers and will restrict any extra.

Also, if you install 1/4" line now you're covered if for some reason you decide to go with larger brakes later.

I'm using the Single piston rear calipers from the 79-85 Eldorado, Toronado, Riviera.

my whole system is plumbed in 3/16" as recommended by inline tube for 4 wheel discs

Best bet would be to figure out what the size of the brake lines to the rear of the Cad the calipers were intended for are and go from there.
