Steering box difference
 

Is there a difference in the 73-77 gear boxes vs the 78+? I just bought a jeep xj shaft to do the rag joint elimination mod and itll bolt to my 78 column but not my 77 gear box? I got the shaft from an 85. It looks to be correct in the other how tos
