Any model builders?
A newish friend of mine turned me on to these cast resin bodies
The new friend likes building detailed models so he's going to build one of my Suburban. http://www.resinrealm.net/Star/STAR%...6DF7CE1E1D.jpg http://www.resinrealm.net/Star/STAR%...2C61D0892F.jpg The kit he brought over has a pickup/tailgate instead of a Suburban gate. My buddy is going to send him a picture of the rear of my truck so he can cast it with the proper tailgate/hatch |
Re: Any model builders?
dont usually see me this part of the board, but the word "model" grabbed my attention
nice sub model, Steve has a few nice body's i would'nt mind getting. whats wrong with the gate on the body? if you cant get the tailgate/hatch casted up, you can easily modify the AMT crew chief blazer gate, and it comes with the same style hatch as the sub. what year is your truck, if it's older than '70, the amt diecast blazer has a really nice chrome grill, and there are a few versions being casted by the aftermarket, but you have to paint them or chrome them up yourself i myself want to get a model of every generation sub since 1950. got a '77 and a '57, wifey also got me a pre-order for the new revell '66 sub. :metal: would like to do a '60-'62 and a '50-'54. and always scoping fleabay and craigslist hunting for one of them elusive Modelhaus '82 subs post a pic when it's done! check out "Our stuff.....in scale" lots of cool stuff in there |
Re: Any model builders?
