sourcing a filler neck for a 72 blazer/jimmy??

Edit, I scored one on eBay. Couldn't find any fuel neck in the reproduction houses.

Hi all,

this forum has been amazing at helping me find a few of the hard to find parts in my restoration. I hope to strike gold again with your help...! :)

My filler neck is pretty rusty. As i'm doing a frame off resto I would like to address the filler neck and replace it. I can't find any sources for where I can find a filler neck. I'm okay buying used, I found one on ebay but I figured I should first check with you all if there is anyone that knows of reman or new old stock filler necks???

Any leads?

thanks!

What'd you pay for it if you don't mind me asking? I just cut one from my stock 72 tank. Might use it for the 31 gal 87-91 k5 tank that's going in, still have to figure that out. If i don't use mine i plan sell it

I bought one off eBay. Felt a bit of time crunch so I think I overpaid...
It was a bit north of $100 with shipping. I would have been okay with ending at $100 including shipping for a filler neck that was clean and with no issues.

The one I got from eBay had zero issues and was in absolutely great shape. The seller even included the gas cap which I didn't expect but appreciated. In the end I thought it was a bit expensive but I have no regrets.

oh are you talking the filler neck from the bedside down to the rubber hose that's btwn the upper filler and the one coming out of the tank? I'm talking about the tank one only, it would have to be welded in to a new tank

The filler neck all the way down to the rubber hose eg. the upper part. Not the tank side.
