fuel gauge resister
Hello I have a 72 with fuel gauge issues, I think I need to change the gauge resister. I don't know here to can get one, any body know.

It's much easier for the doctor to make a diagnosis if the patient will describe his symptoms.
the most common symptom of a bad gauge resistor is a constant reading of no more than 1/4 th of a tank. |

Hello and thank you for the link I will check it out.
Vet, Thank you for your help, that is what is wrong with me gauge. I checked out the sending unit and found it good and than spent time searching past posts and found the info. I had an electrician friend check it out and its open. I was going to you next as I know that you are a great help with electrical issues. Thanks again. K.E.N. |

Thank you vet, when I got home I checked out the link and ordered the resister it was $15 with $8 for shipping.

Just a note, I received and installed the resister and now the gauge reacts to the sender. |
