1990 chevy bucket seats swap
i have a 1990 chevy with the bench seat in it, my brother in law has buckets and center console I would like to swap in. anyone done this before? is it a direct bolt in?

You'll have to drill holes for the buckte's inner mounts and the center counsole, but it is easy to do. I don't think the floor has any premade marking on it where you will need to drill, so just measure twice or so with the brackets, drill, bolt them in. I would use a hard thick washer or plate for the inner seat bolts to give it more strength in the floor mount support.

I swapped buckets in my 94 that came from the factory with a bench. Use the risers as a template. I used thick plate steel underneath the body for reinforcement. The floorboards are actually thin

my old 96 crew cab floor had the threaded nut tabs welded on the bottom of the floor already . i just had to pop the hole threw the tin floor to get to them .
