wheel width question

Don't know if this is the right section but I have a 71 c10 stepside that is bagged (not laying frame) I have some old 18 Eagles on it now but am wanting to go to 20x8 on the front and a x10 on the rear. Was wondering what the correct back spacing would be to make the rear tires fit and also what size tire to run. Any helps appreciated as always

I am on 20x8.5 +5.25, and 20x10 +6.225. 245/35/20 and 285/30/20

Re: wheel width question

I have 9" wide wheels with 5 inch backspacing on the back of my step. With a 10" wheel I would think 5.5" would be correct.
