What is This Worth??

I have an original 3 speed electric overdrive trans that came out of a 68 c10 that I sold a while back. My original plan was to install it in a truck but I am not sure if I am up for the task now. It is the7 bolt model with sync'd first gear, all governors are there, and I have the factory T pull handle that mounts under the dash. I know there isn't much info on these but I figured someone with a factory 3OTT tranny might want to convert to overdrive to get out on the highway.

I've had my eye out for one for quite some time but have never seen one come up for sale.

I don't know what that might be worth....but I might be interested in it?
Do you have any ideas what you would want for it or trade or?
I have a '66 with the 3OTT and I had considered finding one and putting that in it. It was either that or a 700R trans....either to make it more driveable on the highway.

All good

Just curious... So is this like a standard 3OTT trans, but with an electric overdrive incorporated into it? And was it a factory option? I've never seen one, but it sounds cool.

Correct, it has a T handle under the dash to manually engage and disengage the overdrive and the governor gets 12v of power and kicks on or off when you change speed or rpms. I'll post the SPID of the truck it came in

I've seen these eBay in as is used condition $250 to around $500 depending on how complete they are: t handle cable, wiring harness, carburetor switch, etc.
The kicker is buying one as is is a bit of a crapshoot, if the overdrive has issues these can be very expensive to get back online as parts are almost nonexistent anymore.

I'll buy any overdrive parts that you decide to part with. I've been searching...
