One-Man Cab & Bed Lift
New From
Lewis Fabrication Design Inc.

I finished the plans and they are ready to ship out:) Just like the "Tip & Flip Cab Dolly" it comes with material lists, cut lists and step by step build pic's with details. It is designed for standard cabs of all years and fleet side beds. It uses your engine hoist/cherry picker and is truly a one man job. How many times have you needed a hand and no one was around to give you a hand! When you are done it all slides inside it self for easy storage in the corner out of the way.

Plans are $19.95 and this includes shipping and tax. You can order you plans from the link in my Signiture below. If you have any questions please ask!

Are you able to lift the box high enough to get the frame out without the wheels hitting the bottom of teh box?? I had built one of these setups, and the box was a challange, had to lift from the rear without the tailgate.

I have been stuck with just 3 people before and it is not safe for anyone that way, plus you might hurt your self. Most of the time I would be waiting for friends to get home to come over and give me a hand so I made this and it works alot better. Best part is you can set it 2" above your frame and then slid all your body mounts in place and drop the two front bolts in to line things up. Then just lower teh body untill it just starts to touch the rear mounts and slide under to install the rear bolts and if you need you can move the cab a bit to get it just lined up right and you are done. I don't know about you guys but my friends can never seem to just move it a bit to the left. It always ends up 1-2" to the left once it finaly breaks loose:lol:

Yes and No! It can be used but their is a good chance you could warp the side rails because they are not as stronge as the fleet sides. The steps are just rolled and not welded on the bed side tops and this is were you could run into trouble. If you want a set just let me know and I can add the step info to the regular package and you can take of this part on your own.

Vidal V. Both are sent out to you!

Thanks

See I am not only the President I am also a Client:lol: Got my cab all set on today for mock up. My buddy wanted to clim in for a pic:crazy: But I did lift the cab with th eseats still in as well as the drivers door in place. All you have to do is shift the center point over a bit to make up for the doors weight and away you go!

Sorry it took so long to get to your question but I had to put my bed on my frame to make sure. Yes you can depending on two things, 1) how high will your lift go and 2) is your truck lifted! I had to jack the back of my truck up some because it is so low that my lift would not clear my tank or trailing arms but it all cleared the tires and frame with no problem. I do know what you are saying about having to go from the tailgate end and it may need to be done depending on the above factors. Also if you are in a one car garage you may need to lift from the back and not the side. But how ever you need to do it, it sure is easy this way instead of with 4 friends! I just lowered it about 1/2" above teh mounts and then dropped in the bolts thru the mount holes and lowered it the rest of the way:)

Well I think I got a great deal on metal at the time I built the dollys because I bought about 200' of tube at once for projects. I only had about $100 +- into mine but most people are saying it is running about $200 if I remember right. The cab lift is minimal as far as material goes but I would plan $100 and their should be money left unless you buy it all at homedepot! Hope this helps.

And I just sent them off and we all know your real name is "Kalena" Thank you and that is why I build this stuff in the first place. It is not to make money off them but it is to make my life alot easier and my prices cheaper for my customers who's rigs I work on. To tell you the truth on the tip and flips I just sold enough last week to cover my time for putting the plans together but I would rather make a $1 off each one and get more out their than $10 per set and not have as many guys get advantage of my sleepless nights:) And Merry Christmas as well..
