The equipment in use can cause envy for "home-garage" types, but I'm praying for forgiveness. Based on the scene and the set-up if I wasn't a gozillion miles away I'd volunteer grunt labor since I can relate to your schedule too. Keep rock'n ~ rg |

Blasting is so nice, but it will uncover more than what you thought ... which is a good thing, really.
Phase 1 of blasting was just the underside of body, floor, dash, firewall, and kickpanels. dude after seeing a few pics and watching videos, im all about the rotisserie for my burban build. ima make one out of two engine stands and reinforce the heck out of it... yes you have rust, but at least you got that rotisserie...

was that sand blasting or soda blasting ...got to love the rotisserie makes it alot easier

Yep, sandblasting is the absolute best way to to clean up the metal and see exactly what you have....of course as long as the blaster knows what he is doing on sheetmetal. It looks like he knows what he is doing and is doing a thorough job.
I have seen quite a few vehicles come to my friends shop to get stripped that were supposed to be rust free and leave needing a bit of metal replacement. But it's better to find the issues now rather than have it come to bite you in the a** after it is finished. What media does your blaster use? |

Being as I am working on the front floor and rocker area, I built a rack to support the body, and allow the front of body to hang over for work space ....
