Re: MY Blazer build
"there is nothing a man with some metal and a Mig can"t fix" Nice job. I have a 72 and going the old school Horse power way with a 402 (freebie) but if I was doing it from scratchIi would go with the LS. Keep us updated with pictures. Quick question is that a sand car in the back ground??
|
Re: MY Blazer build
yes there is a sand car in the background the guys that are doing the work ( fabrication Unlimited) build and fix off road race trucks and sand cars

Re: MY Blazer build
Nice work. I really like how you handled the rocker boxes! Mine have just one softball size hole I cut with a torch to bolt in my cage. Yours is much cleaner more sophisticated :waah:

Re: MY Blazer build
Holy inspiration Batman, you are building my Blazer!!!
Questions – Did Fabrication Unlimited build the motor mounts/cross member? Are those off the shelf headers? Deaver springs? What inch lift are they? How long are the shocks? Do you have any pictures of the suspension finished with shocks installed? Thanks in advance for any info you can provide and for the much needed motivation. Can’t wait to see more! |
Re: MY Blazer build

Re: MY Blazer build

Re: MY Blazer build
fab unlimited did build the motor mounts/cross member the headers are jba's for a newer chevy truck they had to be cut and worked on a little bit on the passenger side the springs are national springs the fronts are 4 inches longer than stock they moved the rear hanger back to make the work as for lift i want to say about 4 inches. the guys at national spring are way cool and very helpful the shocks are a 12'' inch stroke the picture is the best one i have so far the front shock hoop is not done yet but i will post pictures as soon as they are
