2001-2006 chevy 3500 bed ?
 

I have a 2002 chevy dually bed with a busted up drivers bed side.I was told that the aftermarket sides don't fit well.I am looking for a side or info on this,any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance Jay

I too have heard that the aftermarket dually besides fit like crap. howver a guy i know just replaced both of his dually sides with aftermarket sides. they are old fashioned fiberglass and not the new fiberglass/plastic stuff like the OEM does. i thought they looked good but there was some fiberglass staring where the bolts went on.

why not just stick with OEM bedsides? if they are available used at a reasonable price? are the OEM bedsides bolt on or are they metal and spot welded on? i havent seen a stock bed up close and personal.

they are plastic and are 1150.00 from Chevrolet, it's not as much about the money I just wanted a stronger product. Thank you for your help though,Jay
