turbo 400 kick down switch

If I am not mistaken did some of the trucks come with a Turbo 400? If they did what kind of kickdown switch do they have? Is it the one that comes off of the carb or off of the pedal. Thanks in advance.

The 454 SS trucks came with a th400

GMT-400 trucks had a TH400 option, They had a kickdown solenoid Relay controlled buy the ECM.

Easiest way is to use a Square Body pedal & Kickdown switch.
