PPG paint cost, opinions requested!!!

Anybody knowledgeable on PPG paint costs?
I haven't painted in about 25 years and couldn't bring myself to go into the paint store, I'm sure if I went in they would still have my old account in the computer but I always hated paint stores, no prices on anything and I always felt ripped off when I left so I found a place to buy what I needed online.

Paint costs have been on my mind for 6 months, researched all the off-brands and decided they weren't worth it. I've sprayed a lot of PPG Dupont and Glasurit and never had a problem so I bit the bullet. Here is what I bought....can anybody tell me if the prices are good? Seems ok to me from my research.

1 | PPG DCX61 Concept Clear Series Hardener | $113.93 | $113.93

1 | PPG DCU2021 Concept Clear | $210.85 | $210.85

1 | PPG Deltron 2000 DBC3800 GM Code | $163.00 | $163.00
| WA8624,WA926A,50 Olympic White

1 | PPG Deltron 2000 DBC4154 GM Code | $274.89 | $274.89
| WA9260,74,WA919L Victory Red

2 | PPG DT885 Reducer | $69.75 | $139.50

2 | PPG DP402LF Epoxy Primer Catalyst | $57.50 | $115.00

1 | PPG DP48LF White Epoxy Primer | $189.95 | $189.95

PPG is a fine product. i have been using SPI primers and clears. check out their Forum for advice. Barry the company owner used to work for PPG. his part numbers are even very similar. the concept clear is simular to spi 2020. here is a link to their pricing

Check into Omni plus. It is WAY cheaper than the DBU [deltron] and it feels almost the same. I can tell the difference of the Omni [regular] and the Omni plus in the can just by shaking it the Plus and the DBU I can tell no difference in the can and the plus sprays out like the DBU and covers well also. I have been using Omni for maybe like 17 years or so and the plus since it started and the plus is some really good stuff. I do like it more now that more colors are becoming available in the plus. I still use the Omni clear though MC 270 I have a shop on the side of the highway surrounded by fields and the dust free in 5 min and tack free in 15 or so really adds bonus points for me.

Thanks for the info, I appreciate it. I only used lower grade paint a few times when I was in Germany, '86 to '89, it was standox, I hated that stuff, just like water and took a while to dry too, I guess its a higher end paint now here in the US? I also sprayed with SATA guns over there and hated them too, until I got used to them.
I haven't painted anything now in almost 20 years, I don't think Omni existed then but one of my cheap friends, a real hack started using Nason at the time, I refused.
I will have to go in my old paint store and see how the Omni Plus prices out.

I am about 25% less than what you posted on prices, but i get a good discount. 80 percent of the time i get the dbc, 2021, and the dplf cheaper than i can get the omni stuff.

I hate paying retail!
