Headlight switch

I have a 68-91 headlight switch and I am trying to make sure that I the wires going to the correct plugs. Can someone confirm with me where the tail light wire is supposed to plug in? This is were it is currently plugged in but am not sure if this is the correct location. It is terminal #2. Please don't respond to this with a wiring diagram. The switch is installed in a 62 c10.

Nobody can tell me what is supposed to plug onto this prong. Maybe I do need a wiring diagram. does anyone have one?

That's not the correct lug. The one for the parking lights is the closest one at the 7 O'clock position to the one you have marked. Parking light circuits have brown wires. Wiring diagrams are available here somewhere, and IMHO, that's where I would have started first.

Edit; here's a link to a full wiring schematic.http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=185856

Thanks for all your help. My dash lights and my tail lights were switched for some reason and on top of that my tail light wire was smashed under a bolt causing it to short out.
