'67 chevy lwb.keep? what to do? ideas?

ok so a while abck when i was 14 i bought my first truck, a 1967 lwb 327 v8/ turbo 400 tranny manual steering manual brakes truck.no ac.1/2 ton 6 lug wooden bed small cab rear window. for 75$

when i was 15 i bought a 1978 k20 and restored it until now(im 17).its my daily driver.

what do you guys think i should do with this truck?

it has a lot of messed up but fixable wiring, floor rot(i can stick my foot through it), the hood and bedside were taken down to bare metal, let to rust then spray primered over i believe? and the rear bumper pushed into the bed slightly.other then that, almost no dents.

any ideas would be great onto what you think io should do with it?

keep in mind i dont have a lot of money but me and my dad have the skill,know-how and resources to do almost any work on it.

please help,it kills me to see it sit in the back of our acre lot just sitting there.

I would do the 67, then when its running and can be reliable enough to drive full time, sell the 78 to fund finishing the project/make it nicer. Im partial to the 67-72 body style though. Thats what im doing right now with my 71. I have a 91.5 dodge ram diesel that is my daily driver and when the 71 is up I may sell her to pay for finishing my 71.

It may be a good parts truck if you can find one that's in better shape. I would think you should be able to find one in Arizona. These old trucks can soak up a lot of money and even though you're young and have a lot of time, the interest factor may diminish in a few years. You got to think about 2, 3, 5 years down the road for yourself.

Now, if you already know what you will be doing in a few years it would be a good way to practice and get some experience doing body work. On top of that you have your dad to help.

If you decide at a later date that you won't have the time or money, you can always part it out or sell it the whole truck and at least recoup your money.

Just dont scrap it...

Keep it for parts if you can, in AZ I would assume you could find another cab..
