4x4 parts / th400/th350 cross memebrs and more
 

I was going to build a 4x4 but switched gears and now going 2 wheel drive , I purchased some parts from a member here.
I would like to sell the 205 case and adapter together they are set up for a turbo 400
np205 empty case that has been machined for a th400 for the 90mm bearing has been sandblasted and painted and a original 67-72 adapter for TH400 ( i have another complete NP205 case with internals from a turbo 350 that will fit in the new case, you would just need to buy a few extra parts.
empty NP205 case with adapter $400 ( $450 with the complete case for the internals, )
Transfer case to frame mount/brace $75
powder coated trans/transfer case cross member $250 with the frame mount brace
a second cross member has not been cleaned with rubber mounts for a turbo 350 $125
A used power steering gear box has not been cleaned $75
engine cross member $100 has not been cleaned
NP 205 shifter boot and ring $75, boot has no rips, ring needs paint
disc brake front dana 44 with 373 gears, needs rotors and bolts and bearings, it has been disassembled except for the gears $250 or will sell parts off it.

I loved Grand Haven when I lived there in the late 80s. The area has built up so much since then. The off shore powerboat races and Coast Guard festival were a blast. Nice parts.

I am not sure, I bought this from a member here and was told it would take $250 in rebuild kit and shaft to finish it, I was going to build a 4x4 but am now building a 2 wheel drive.

The th400 adapter doesn't use a coupler like the other transmissions. The male th400 transmission output shaft goes straight through the adapter and connects to the female np205 input shaft.

A np205 case originally behind a th400 will use a bigger input gear bearing and therefore is bored a larger diameter...as mentioned in the third link.

Thought I might offer some clarification :

The adapter pictured appears correct for adapting the th400. It would not have needed any machining. If anything was machined, it likely was the np205 case's input gear bore... Should be 90mm when behind a th400. Stock 67-72 np205s were 80mm.
