Wheels option for Silverado 2000
 

I just bought a nice 2000 Silverado 1500 it has aftermarket wheels 17" and I want to know what are my options are on the back space and width I had a 1992 Silverado that made it like a Nascar edition and I want to do the same with the 2000 the old wheels were 15x8 on the back and 15x7 up front but dont know about the specs can I fit 15" wheels on the 2000? I read on here that I have to grind the calipers I can go with 16s but need to know the width and backspace options I kinda want it to sit like a pro street truck but in simple way and not the wheels sticking out and yes I tried the search before posting but no luck on answers
