Re: 1991 ccsb duramax
nice
the only other kind of motor i would even think about putting in my crew in place of the 454. if you dont mind, how much did you get your d-max for? there stupid expensive south of your border in bc. we have 5 d-max crews at work, keep telling the guys to get in an accident- preferably rear ended and wipe out the back half... ding ding ding cheap d-max... keep your Gm truck all GM :metal: |
Re: 1991 ccsb duramax
That is incredible progress for just one week!
I must ask, did you remove the window seals for painting or mask them off somehow? Looks like it turned out well. |

71 gal or 66 gal total capacity ?
my bracket i made years ago for a 31 gal blazer tank install in a k30 frame . the first 3 are the new rear crossmember . the lips of the angle iron are what hold the tank in place and the straps hold it up in place . |

Re: 1991 ccsb duramax
Sweet build! And holy smokes $900 for that truck would be a steal where I'm at. How hard is it to fit a dmax in a square body? And what trans do you plan on running?

Re: 1991 ccsb duramax
Nice rig. I'll be following. Let me know if you want to sell those camper tie downs from the front of the bed. Happijac stopped selling them and I've been keeping an eye out for a pair.
