I want to share this You Tube video link with all of you because I think this truck deserves a good home where it will get repainted and enjoyed. I bought it to use as the donor body to restore my rotted 66 but damn - this truck is way too nice and operates too smooth etc to take it apart when technically all I really need is a replacement BBW solid 64-66 cab so I am offering this great solid truck up to all of you and I will hunt a cab to fix mine instead. This is a real barn find 66 short bed pickup bought new and stayed right here in NE Alabama all its life with 81K original miles, all its factory fawn paint inside, Custom Cab Big Window, and a nearly 100% solid cab. Late model V8 replaced the original 283 back in 1985 when it was unfortunately sprayed Burgundy straight over the original Light Blue and White paint - so to top it off it has the coveted 537 paint code. Original Custom Comfort seat was recovered to match the outside and sits great. 3 speed trans never hangs and operates flawlessly.
Rear end is quiet, front end nice and tight. Great ride and you can tell it was never ragged by anyone. all Glass is great. Watch the video and I don't think anyone will question the under-valued price of $8500 firm on this truck - I know you wont when you see it in person and actually drive it.

When you watch the video, you won't be able to believe that a Big Window cab exists with this little rust in it, but seriously - here is a topside shot of the floor rust shown in the video - same on both sides in the exact same spot - that IT for cab rust on this one.

Crazy solid - just sand it and get the hundred year old un-necessary bondo off the panels and see what you need to truly repair - maybe repair or replace front fenders but the rest of this truck is sooo much better to fix and repaint than 90% of them

I know right? For someone accustomed to seeing through the floorboards like people in Pennsylvania do, floors this solid have to appear to be a dream. Probably bring 10K if I had it in PA for sale

Everybody knows what they think their truck is worth. Original 327 three speed standard original wood bead and soft ray glass. The only rust in the whole truck was of coarse the bottom of both front fenders. It does not have the side trim and it is not a big back window, and the Seat has been sat in.
