Sanded through primer fix
 

So I'm sanding the primer on my truck which will serve as a topcoat for now and I accidentally sanded through in a few areas. What is the best way to repair these areas? Should I just mask off these areas and re-coat?

Paint it.

You're rounding third heading for home so don't stop to wave to mom.

:metal: I'm hoping to topcoat soon. This has been a ton of work to get to this point, especially since I learned everything by trial and error and YouTube. I'm really looking forward to the finished product. Based on how it looks now, I think it will definitely look way better than when I started.

What primer is on it? Anything other than epoxy will not protect it from moisture. If it is epoxy personally I would apply a spot coat to the bare areas and a reduced coat over the whole truck as a "sealer".

Without reducing would be fine too. When ready you could wipe it down with W&G and seal it right before applying base
