Need some help with center caps.

I put a set of 2000 2500 wheels on my 1999 K2500 and I can't find center caps that will fit correctly. I check the lug nuts and they are the same part number.
I have these wheels

And I have some of these center caps, lug nut covers won't reach threads on lug nut.

And one of these that I tried.

Seems like the lug nut cover is too short.

Wondering if I need caps like these....

The wheel in the first pic is for 99-07

The center cap in the first pic is 88-98(00)

The center cap in the second pic is 99-07 ALLOY WHEELS

The center cap in the third pic is 88-98(00)

The first and third center caps are the same, except one says GMC and the other says Chevy.

You are looking for center caps for 99-06 STEEL WHEELS. Steel wheels and alloy wheels have different caps. You can also look at Chevy Express/GMC Savanna center caps. They all had steel wheels. The express van still uses that wheel up to 2019.

Or you can do what I did to mine to run H2s. Take about 1/4" or so from the bottom of the cap, where it touches the rim.

Thanks for the reply, these wheels are steel with the chrome/stainless overlay.
When on the 2000 2500 gmt800 truck the covers I have fit no issues, when I take the same wheel and put it on the gmt400 truck the caps don't fit, seems like the screw on lug nut covers are not deep enough.

Did you post a you tube video? I saw that.
I might just see if I can score some PYO's trouble is here in the Northeast they are all trashed.
