VSS for Speedo and Cruise?

I have an '86 with a '01 5.3 DBC in it. I am currently adding the cruise control from the 5.3. I'm a little unsure on something.

The speedo and the cruise module require the VSS signal from the PCM. I'm just wanting to make sure it is okay to splice into this wire for the cruise module. I know it is a digital signal. Can splicing it in two disrupt the signal or is it okay to do? Perhaps there's another way to do it?

You should have no problem with splitting the signal.

Thanks for the reply. I actually already did the splits and it works great!
