header question
 

sorry meant to post this in other forum. What is the tube that connects the to the top of drivers manifold to the intake? If it is the same as a lt1 I disconnected mine in a z28 I had and didn't have any problems. What is the purpose of this and can I disconnect it and run a regular set of headers with the o2 sensors welded in?
