3/4 ton wheel pics please

I would like to see some pics of 3/4 tons with different wheel and tire combos. I have my 33x12.50x16.5's mounted but I dont like the way they sit on the truck . The wheels need more backspace I think . I dont have a pic of the truck yet with the new rears but I might try to get one this weekend to show what I am talking about . I have the steel 16.5x9.75 wheels with the small hub caps . If I could find some of the old Western Wheels with the covered lugs in 16 or 16.5 ,I would love that look. Frank

Hey Frank I see you have picked up some very nice trucks in the last few months, they look Awesome!!! Not sure if you remember me, but I bought a tailgate from you a few years back. Here are a couple pictures of my 3/4 wheel and tire combo. LT285-75R16 on the factory 2002 Aluminum Wheels

Thanks Jeff,
I do remember meeting you at the Chevron with that GMC tailgate (red and silver gate IIRC) . Those look and seem to fit better than I would have thought . Do you have a slight side shot to show how they ride inside the fenders . I can still return the 33x12.50 x16.5's since They havent been used . I might just keep the 235/85's on the front and run a 285/75 on the rear . Frank

Spot on with the red and silver tailgate and the Chevron. Here is one more pic 3/4 passenger side front. I could take a couple more if you like tonight, showing you just what you want.

Thanks for the pics Jeff . The truck looks good with those on it . If a pair of the correct offset steel wheels do not show up soon , I might have to set mine up like yours .

Re: 3/4 ton wheel pics please

Jeff , will those newer factory wheels fit a 3/4 ton with a full floater rear end ? Also I don't think you can use the newer lug nuts that came with those wheels , am I right about that ? I would like to get a set of those for a C20 that I have , those wheels look very nice . thanks .

.

Re: 3/4 ton wheel pics please

Frank I am glad that I could be of some help, as far as the wheels I get a lot of comments on them, they can't beleive the new model wheel fit and look so good on the older trucks.

Bowed I can't say for sure, I am thinking with a full floater rear end that the center part (hub) may be to long for the center caps, but pretty sure that the wheels will work. As far as the caps they will work, but you have to buy the non metric lug nuts with dual threads (inside/outside) I found my on Ebay for like $40 for the full set of 32.
