Besides countless monster trucks of the 1980's, this one to me is pretty retarded tall.

Re: Biggest lift!

Here is a suburban that is taller than Bigfoot 5.

Ok rephrase.

Street legal huge lifts.

Re: Biggest lift!

i think "street legal" is going to tame this thread down jusssst a little!

I'm pretty sure that some states require you to have a bumper no more than 24" off the ground. i think that makes my 6" lift and 35"s almost illegal

Re: Biggest lift!

Damn those 2nd too trucks look pretty damn tipsy to me. I will stick with the lifts I got for now.

special-K 11-17-2008 10:11 AM

Re: Biggest lift!

Biggest lifts and legal don`t blend.Neither does big lifts and legal. Now,what is legal depends on local laws and this thread just got all complicated. Here in Maryland the bumper height laws pertain to below 10,000# GVW VINs.So,a 1t can run whatever. But,tires can`t stick out.We have "Farm Truck" tags if you have enough property and they can do anything because it can be a hybrid truck/farm equipment. Then, there`s "Historic" registration with no inspection and "Street Rod" tags for modified vehicles with no inspection.Any of the Farm,Hisrtoric,or Street Rod registrations have limits. So the use is what becomes illegal.

I've seen this truck along the 401 in Ontario. It's basically just used like a billboard since installing those tires.

Re: Biggest lift!

Special-k does that mean if we run those tags we can go higher than what the lift call for.

Re: Biggest lift!

probably not the biggest but this is a big lift

http://www.forkliftaction.com/upload/news/2881-1.jpg

and if you don't have a big enough lift, you can always use two smaller lifts;)

I just wanted to update the bigfoot pic. It sits about 1 1/2 hour from my house.

And if they were going to put money into superfoot, why the 460. They need to put a new model 572 with a blower.

Re: Biggest lift!

in tesax your "lift" is fontrolled by the height of your running lights.. it never ONCE mentions (in what i hve read) any stipulations on "where" your running lights have to be...
...
oh it also has that 'within reason clause
