Jag IRS pics in a 55-59???

Good morning everyone, I am thinking about running a jag irs on my '57. Anyone have any experience good or bad? Would be great to see some pics too. I would like to get 8" or 10" of travel using airbags, but not quite sure if that is possible, and insight would be great.

Thanks,

CJ

And a little bit here: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...ht=jag+rearend

Down side to a Jag rearend to the Corvette C4 is that parts are harder to get, C4 was used for soooo long in the Corvettes that parts are readily available at part stores and are not as expensive as Jag parts.

I have all the parts for the Jag setup, plus a great connection for any additional parts I need. Thanks for the info.

Fuel Media,
Can you share the "connection" for additional parts? I have a Jag IRS in my '46. It wa installed using the original factory carrier - not as cool as without it, but it works fine. It rides a touch low overall and a bit lower on the driver's side. I suspect worn out shocks. Mine are NOT the adjustable shocks though I wish they were. Replacement shocks at 4 each get REAL pricey. Any good connection would be super appreciated. Drop me a PM if this is a share-able source (and any other sources as well).

I work part time (nights) for a local street rod shop (Image Streetrods) and we did a *****'n Jag setup in a '32 Ford chassis. Custom lower arms, half shafts, and cantilever coil overs.
