What's the best way to do a Roll Cage ... Need pics!

Built or bought, welded or bolted, big or small ... Let's see 'em. Vendors and tube types. Whatcha got? I'm gonna put one in but there's too many great builders on this board not to take advantage of your ideas.

Thanks in advance
Dan

This is the one i got.

Welded to the floor board and then another plate under the cab conected to the fram i still need to finishs the back end attachment to the frame, cant right now cause i have saddle gas tanks.

One thing is to keep bends at a minimal, only do the necesary bending now whats your intention for the truck, if its drag racing/off road racing then do it right with the needed re enforcements and attach the cab to the cabe on the pillar sections if not the cab will move and it will make a lot of noise and it will start splitting apart i have that problem on the rear section just behind the door.

I'm not building it as a racer. I just want to be safe pounding around out in the desert. Dunes and flood washes mostly with the occasional hill climb. I won't be in the rocks too much. I still want to drive it on the street too.

1.5" .120 wall steel basic crap but well done.

There are some pre made ones on the net but personally i dont like thoose. too bad i dont have my drawing software anymore i could draw up a cool one.

Like i mentioned before limit yourself on bends and were you have a bend reenforce it.

And be prepared for the loos of power due to the added weight.

heres some more pics.
