70 longbed 04-24-2003 03:02 PM

Need help with value

OK,

Need some guidance. I found a 70 C10 shortbed. At a minimum it needs rocker panels and one cab corner; do not know extent of damage to rockers and if it goes into the floor. It is currently a 4 on the floor and allegedly runs good. The bed is pretty good condition with a relatively flat floor, some dents in the wheel wells, but not bad. There are miscellaneous holes,( running lights mounted to the roof, there was a hood ornament on it at one time, and the interior needs redone.

Looking for some kind of value that this might be worth.

Sounds like it's in the same shape that mine was. I paid $900 for it (here in the rust belt). In Arizona you might not get that much because of all the rust-free stuff out there.

The value would be higher if it were a 71 due to the 5 lug axles and disc brakes.
I would think $800 to $1,200
Pics would help
