some pics of my 69 GMC SB

Im new to trucks and bought this one because liked the way it looked. it needs all new cab mounts, both floors under seats need replaced and it has a pair of outer rockers just rivited in place. no power sterring or brakes. its basically a 20 foot truck( looks good from 20 feet away) i paid 2500.00 for it. is this a good deal??? i thought it was at first but now that ive had a chance to look it over im kinda second guessing myself. either way its gonna be a project

That is what i paid for mine, with the same rust but mine also has it above the windshield :(. Overall, looks like a pretty good deal for how clean it is :)

Palf70Step 05-26-2003 09:07 PM

Welcome to the board from south Mississippi. truck looks real nice. Shiny is only a dream so far for mine.

krue 05-26-2003 09:15 PM

Looks pretty good to me. The rust sounds like it is in places that should be fairly easy to fix.

BTW my truck is only shiny right after a rain!:D

casey 05-26-2003 10:35 PM

Welcome from Ohio...we have at least one member in the armed forces and serving in Alaska...I just can't remember his screen name.

dion 05-27-2003 08:51 PM

Welcome! I think you did good for that price. I spent three years in AK, nice place.

I think I saw that truck for sale at the shell station not to long ago. It's kinda hard to find a nice 67-72 around here. I've seen a 72 longhorn for sale for 4000.00 in the paper, it looks ok from the picture.

I like your truck and welcome. I served 6 years at Ft Richardson myself.

case_bt 05-28-2003 10:38 AM

9teen69 05-28-2003 11:29 AM
