88' Suburban: Leaking Roof/Ceiling

Whenever it rains I am reminded of an issue that has been around for awhile - my roof leaks. Go figure it has been raining the past few days.

I think the problem stems from the roofrack. I've heard of them causing issues on various vehicles due to how they are installed. I've looked at the gaskets where it connects to roof and they seem to be dry rotted.

The options I'm considering are:
Try to find the gaskets and then attempt to remove the rack, replace the gaskets, and put it back on.
Or
Replace the rack with cargo loops welded to each of the previous mounting points. I don't weld but have a friend that might could help.
Or
Remove the rack entirely and seal the holes with something, perhaps JB weld and then paint over it.

Another issue is that the inside ceiling is beginning to sag and degrade due to the water. I'm contemplating taking it down and replacing it with either cedar planks or bamboo flooring(strange I know but I think it'll look good and I can get it for a decent price).

I'd loved to hear y'alls opinions and thoughts on the two projects.
