Front Suspension
 

Hey everybody this is my first post. I just recently bought a 68 c10 and they guy told me the people before him replaced the front end. He said 85 C30 outter tie rod fit it but when I got to tearing it apart the upper control arm has a serial number of 6263852 on it and I think that goes to a 1980 c10. Am I correct? Just want to make sure before I buy suspension parts for it.

Well the C30 is of course one ton it should be bigger I think. I know on the newer ones the one ton stuff is bigger and heavier made. Is it a 5 lug truck Carry the part with you and match it up if you think it is 80 C10 ask for that and see how it matches. Those parts are the same from like 73 to 87 I think I haven't worked on that body style in a long long time. Good luck to you and welcome from east AR.
