Bushings

I am going to get a 73-87 crew in a couple months, and I am going to gather some parts up in the mean time for its initial fix ups.

Which bushings are better for the trucks a-arms. PST's polygraphite, or stock hd C20 or C30 bushings from a premium supplier. Or is the c20/30 tie bar for the a-arms bigger, and worth it too?

I plan to buy a new crossmember to modify, and rebuild so I can slip it in when I get the truck when I do the ritual build. The mods will be a faster ratio box with increased driver feel, biggest jy sway bar, add rear one if time permits, and move low a-arm 1 inch forward. Basically as much as I can do out of the make it handle thread.

Re: Bushings

I honestly don't think a difference would be noticed between Poly bushings used on 73-87 C10 arms vs the OE rubber lined sleeve style arms (63-72 C10; 63-91 C20/C30).

If you plan to use C10 arms from a 73-87, the Poly bushings will yield less deflection vs the standard 73-87 rubber bushings.
