Happened into some luck today!
 

So I'm over at welding class, carrying in my metal straps I use in the electrolysis tank. *Every two runs puts so much rust onto them, wire brushing at class is the easiest way to clean it off.* I'm also chatting a bit with a guy from the automotive class, who had asked me to weld up a hole in his exhaust header (way beyond my skills so the teacher got that one).

We talk a bit about electrolytic rust remover and he mentions the school has a sandblast cabinet. I walk over, speak with the teacher, and BINGO, I get to bring in the last part I need to paint, my surface rusted and crusted battery tray. I'll do this Thursday.

That part is really too big for my electrolysis/Evaporust process and I was going to have to pay a guy $50.00 to blast it for me. WIN. :metal:
