Need help with door locks on door with bear claw latches.

I have read several post about these latches. I have the latches installed working with push button handle and interior handle. But my problem is I'm not sure how to fab the manual locking linkage. There is not enough room for locking slide to move up and down because of window channel. I'm obviously a beginner at this so any help would be great. Thank you

Do you have a picture of the latch you are using, and are you supposed to be able to use the original exterior door locks with them?

I'm not at all familiar with the Bear Claw latches so I don't know how much help I will be. You didn't answer my second question above so do that if you would.

1. I also need to know if the way the picture shows them is the way they are installed in the door.

2. I presume the piece at the bottom with the 2 holes is the lock mechanism.

3. If so, which hole does the lock button rod fit into.
