1959 Chevy Apache 38 1 Ton
I originally started a thread under 6BT Swap (http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=679161) but have changed course and have decided to rebuild/machine my 235 and get it back on the road sooner than a 6BT swap would yield.

Unsure what size these pics are going to come in at.. experimenting with resizing them for the forum size requirements.
Pulled the 235 straight six and will be rebuilding it... Will post my progress as I go along. |

Door Panel showed the engine to be a 235, but after tearing it down I discovered I've got a 261. Will post pics...

Bored 025 over, Honed to 030 over, had to cut the deck 020 to get it flat & cleaned up. Crankshaft balance looked real good.

Had to sand the thrust bearing some to get a few more thousandths of endplay.
