Lost brake and blinker

1961 Apache10.
Thought I had everything worked out, but nope. I'm posting this at 1am after wasting an entire evening chasing gremlins only to get right back to where I started, without passenger side brake light or blinker.

Tail lights work fine, both the same brightness.

Weird thing is both blinkers work when the taillights are off, but only driver's side works with the tail lights on. When the taillights are on and I try the passenger blinker, the license plate light pulses.

Any help much appreciated. Thanks

Check the right light socket for a good ground. With lights off, pull the bulb and check the continuity between the dark green wire and the socket housing for zero ohms with an ohm meter. Then check the brown wire for the same. If resistance is high then you will have to clean the socket mount to frame.

'61 has black and white wires to socket, taillights and brake/signal respectively. I will check the grounds, which are the mounting screws, and make sure the metal to metal contacts are clean.
I might add an additional ground wire from the taillight housing to the frame, that shouldn't cause any issues right?
