Rebuilt heads and breaking in

Hi:
If The heads are rebuilt, does the engine needs to go through any breaking in process? If yes, what is that and how does it get done?, Any specific oil to use? I am reusing the original rocker arms and push rods, and heads are rebuild too stock specs, nothing wild. The engine is a 5.3 vortec.
Thanks

If you just did the heads you really don't need any type of break in.

I'm assuming you didn't replace the cam or lifters.

Cam, lifter and everything else is the same.

There is no real reason to break heads in . If I have the heads off what I like to do is put it thru a full heat cycle so every thing will expand and seat it self in a full cool down and then hammer on it .

Even if I did a cam and lifter & spring change I would do the same . The cam and lifters are different form the old days .
