Icm

Is permatex white lithium grease safe to use on icm on distributor plate. I just bought a new distributor and under icm it is almost dry. I went back and told the guy in the store he said it only comes with a new icm but white lithium grease is fine to use.
As always thanks in advance for advice!

Re: Icm

Use heat sink compound, it's not the same as lithium grease.

Re: Icm

You need heatsink paste not not lithium or dielectric grease or any other types of greases. Regular greases don't conduct enough heat.

Superlube 98003 or any white CPU paste. I usually steer clear of the high performance silver bearing CPU pastes because they are very very conductive.
