Temp Gauge Location?

Other Than The Block Is There Somewhere I Can Temporarily Hook My Temp Gauge To During Me Engine Break In?

Are you using the factory guage? If so putting it in the thermostat housing will work fine. If you are using an aftermarket mechanical guage then you can put it in one of the heads. For breaking in engines I use an infrared temperature gun to stay on top of what is happening.

Aftermarket Gauge. Was Thinking The Top Rad Hose. Everything Is Freshly Painted

You could use something like this.

https://www.summitracing.com/parts/flx-32082/overview/

I made my own with a piece of exhaust pipe, a nut welded to one side for the sender, and a bolt welded to the other side for the ground. Needs to be grounded for a good signal.

Be aware, it will only be accurate when the thermostat is open.
